The Role

The Sales Director, UK is responsible for overseeing all new business sales activities of the UK office including managing the Sales Team. Among the areas to be reviewed and developed are:

Someone who is going to drive Affectv’s profile and success across the UK agency landscape and who can demonstrate outstanding competency in creating and developing deep and beneficial relationships both inside and outside the organisation.

From a leadership perspective, we are looking for someone with the ambition to balance developing their own career while also lifting their team in capabilities and experience in a fun, rewarding way. 

Commercially, you will have demonstrated a high level of structured expertise in managing identifying, progressing and closing key client opportunities. You will be adept at providing guidance and expertise across the programmatic landscape encompassing data targeting, media selection and creative delivery. We are looking for someone comfortable with evangelising personalization to key decision makers, securing strategic relationships and being a results-oriented hands-on who excels at developing new ways of bringing in new business and leading by example. Process wise,  Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, needs analysis, listening, identifying buying signals, negotiation and the ability to sell based on value rather than price.

In terms of experience, preferably you will have demonstrated a superior capability in leading teams to successfully highlight, engage with, and close new sales opportunities across the agency landscape. You will be highly experienced in objection handling, sales pipeline management and driving day-to-day sales activities. The right candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem and the role the components (DMP’s, DSP’s, SSP’s, RTB, trading desks, ad exchanges) play.
